Deposits
A deposit will be required on all manufactured goods unless customer goes through and
passes Gia Loi’s Credit Application.
Credit
Credit is offered to customers based on worthiness as determined by Gia Loi’s own
internal procedures. Customer must pay for credit check which will be completed by
Gia Loi’s agent. This report will not be available for review by the customer and is the
property of GiaLoi. All decisions made by Gia Loi about credit are final. Customers can
reapply for credit on a quarter annual basis.
If credit is authorized to a customer, it can be terminated at any time by Gia Loi without
notice. If credit is cancelled with a customer then all remaining balances will become due
immediately.
Discounts
If no credit is issued and deposits are put in place then the following will apply;
1. If invoice is paid 100% before production begins, a 2.25% discount from the
quoted rate will be applied.
2. If a 50% deposit is made, and invoice is paid in full before products are ready for
shipping, then a 1% discount will be applied to the remaining balance.
All other forms of payment will not be issued a discount. All discounts must be requested
by the customer to be applied to their invoice, and must be done before payment is made.
No discount refunds or credits will be issued to customers for any reason if not requested
in writing before payment is made.
Returns
If a return is needed because of a technical issue arising from a product that does not
meet specifications for strength, a representative from Gia Loi may need to be present
on site in order to authenticate the worthiness of the claim. All returns due to any other
reason are subject to a standard restocking charge of 25%. Customer also incurs all costs
associated with shipping. In addition, all returns must be clearly marked as specified by a
representative from Gia Loi in order to be accepted at the factory.
Storage Policy
Due to limited area for storage of goods, time is of the essence in terms of shipping.
GiaLoi will hold products for 10 days after they are completed and ready for shipment.
After that time if the customer has not initiated the shipping procedures, the product
may be placed back into stock with any deposit being forfeited and a restocking charge
imposed.
Shipping
Shipping for all products is the responsibility of the customer. Gia Loi will make every
attempt to help in this area if needed, to secure rates and help with delivery and loading
on an FOB basis. Any and all shipping fees must be prepaid to Gia Loi if needed. Gia Loi
will also make every attempt to ship on time but will not be held responsible if any part
of payment for the items is not received in accordance with the contract/invoice.
Cancellations
Cancellation of orders for products that are to be manufactured will lose any and all
deposit plus be subject to a restocking fee. Custom made orders are subject to loss of
deposit, and will also be subject to additional fees depending on the time and quantity of
product already produced.
Production and Packaging Charges
All products come with specific core sizes and wrapping options for shipping. If the
customer wishes to have the products produced with something different, then the
additional fees associated with producing the products in that way will be charged.
Delivery Options
Gia Loi prefers to offer all our products on a FOB Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam basis. All
shipping should be handled by the customer. Should a customer ask Gia Loi to handle
the shipping, then GiaLoi is in no way responsible for anything that occurs outside of
its factory. GiaLoi will not be held accountable for any delays, products missing or
damaged, customs, taxes, duties, or other issues. GiaLoi will only supply the actual
product, in container, to the shipper.
Protecting Material After Delivery
Gia Loi takes every precaution to deliver your material in the best possible condition to
you. Any damage should be noted with the port and shipper if seen at time of receiving.
If not, then the customer has 2 weeks to notify Gia Loi from time of receipt about the
defect. Gia Loi cannot be held responsible for storage or handling damage to materials
after delivery. The customer should always follow recommended storage procedures for
these types of products.
